Ellen DeGeneres. NBC Nightly News. The Ashton Kutcher Foundation. Time for Kids. SoulPancake. People Magazine. 3M. Lego Education. Discovery Channel for Education.
These are just a few of the audiences that have been drawn to the masterful teaching methods of educator, speaker, and author Michael Bonner.

The Heart of a Teacher,
The Voice of a Leader
From classrooms to corporate stages, he leaves audiences—from administrators to executives—energized and equipped to make a lasting impact. Recognized as a visionary educator, Mr. Bonner works relentlessly to cultivate a mindset of excellence and resilience among his students. Each day, he meets children with diverse backgrounds, needs, and potential, and tailors his approach to support their growth—academically, socially, emotionally, and psychologically.
In recent years, Michael has expanded his focus to include innovation, entrepreneurship, STEAM, and fostering a deep love for reading. His classroom, lovingly known as Bonnerville, is a space where students feel hopeful, inspired, and challenged to reach new heights.
Today, Mr. Bonner calls Atlanta home, where he teaches 4th grade Social Studies and 6th grade ELA at the world-renowned Ron Clark Academy.
MICHAEL'S
speech key points.
1.
FEEDBACK MATTERS
Grab anonymous feedback from your "clientele" to check the pedagogical temperature of your environment. Use Padlet, Google Forms, or a simple sheet of paper.
2.
SET THE TEMPERATURE
You are responsible for the energy you bring into any environment. Find 2 people who are "believers" that will keep you motivated. Especially when times get tough!
3.
21ST CENTURY SKILLS
The world is changing and in some sectors, skills are more valuable than degrees. What are 3 out of the 10 skills from the World Economic Forum you can focus on?
4.
SHINE BRIGHTER
Sometimes the gifts you have will frustrate the insecurities in others. Ignore them and keep doing what's best for kids. At the end of the day, they are our future.
"I think the fact that he is
STILL A CLASSROOM TEACHER
combined with his presentation skills and down to earth personality, gives him credibility and relevancy that is increasingly difficult to find."
